Incredible people with wonderfully generous hearts. That is our description of the people we met on Saturday Oct 12th at the Sheraton Brookfield Hotel. The 2nd Annual "KenVention" sponsored by the "He's A Doll" Collector Doll Club.  Focusing on the Ken doll by Mattel, (but Barbie Dolls were included, 150 people from all over the country, culminated their convention with a great dinner and a Charity Auction of custom-designed, one-of-a-kind Barbie and Ken Dolls.

I attended along with Laurie Freund,  another member of Lindsay's Voice Board of Directors. We had the opportunity to share our mission of Lindsay's Voice and Trees of Hope WI. We met several people in the audience that have been personally touched by the evil blood cancers.

The Auction was very spirited, and ultimately all the dolls auctioned raised $6375.00 !  Additional donations brought the total to $7229 !!

We want to Thank Lisa Koppelman-Elliott and Linda Leake-Beard for extending the invitation to Lindsay's Voice/ Trees of Hope WI to be part of this wonderful event.     Join us for Trees of Hope WI and Bid on this beautiful Barbie Tree Saturday Nov 23rd  at the Radisson Hotel Mayfair.
